The best rated apps, served fresh

A 5.0 from twelve votes says little. APK Sushi only ranks apps that thousands or millions of people rated, and shows how the stars split from one to five. Pick a category and get the apps people actually love, out of 4.1M apps refreshed every night.

Stars you can trust

Google Play shows an average from one to five stars and the number of ratings behind it. APK Sushi uses both: a high score only counts when enough people gave it.

Who looks for the best rated apps

An independent Google Play data service

APK Sushi on apksushi.com is part of the APK API network: it reads the public Google Play listing for 4.1M apps and refreshes it every night. It is an independent service, not affiliated with Google, and it serves metadata only: apksushi.com does not host, distribute or link to APK files. The brand main site is apkapi.com, where the same API, documentation and account live.

Ratings: questions

What is APK Sushi?

APK Sushi (apksushi.com) ranks Google Play apps by rating on top of the APK API. It counts only apps with many ratings, shows the star breakdown of each app and lists the best rated apps by category, across 4.1M apps.

Is apksushi.com an official APK API site?

Yes. apksushi.com is part of the APK API network, and the brand main site is apkapi.com. A key created on apksushi.com uses the same APK API, so it works across the network for keys, billing and documentation.

Why not just sort by the star rating?

Because small apps with a few votes would fill the top with perfect scores. APK Sushi asks for a minimum number of ratings as well, so the lists show apps that many people rated highly.

Where do the ratings come from?

From the public Google Play listing: the average score, the number of ratings, the number of reviews and the count of each star. They are refreshed every night.

Are the ratings the same in every country?

The store computes ratings per region and device type, while APK Sushi records the listing as Google Play shows it by default. Small differences from what you see on your phone are normal.

Is APK Sushi free?

Yes, to start. An account on apksushi.com includes free monthly tokens with no card. A list of up to 100 rated apps costs 2 tokens, one app with its star breakdown costs 1.

Can I download APK files from apksushi.com?

No. APK Sushi is a Google Play metadata service: ratings, reviews, installs, developers and categories. It does not host, distribute or link to APK files; the answers are JSON, not binaries.
